One of our most popular lifting products within our gantry range is our PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE, which leads the field in terms of strength safety and performance. Completely portable and made from durable and lightweight aluminium, our PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE provides the ultimate in convenience, functionality and stability.

Our PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE is available in a variety of height-adjustable frame sizes and beam lengths from 2-4m this gantry offers a tremendous strength to weight ratio with the smallest unit weighing just 33kg, and 66kg for the largest.

The PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE has some great features which makes this system ideal for personnel lifting and fall protection applications. These include:

1. Tested and Certified to EN795:2012 – The PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE has been tested and can provide an anchor point for up to three persons for fall protection applications.

2. Winch capable – This gantry is designed to fit a wide range of winch brackets on either the trap plate or the upright. A sheave which can be located in between the cheek plates, enables the routing of the winch or fall arrest block cable through the underside of the beam onto a sheave carrier which would further route the cable to align above an opening, making the solution for confined space access applications.

3. One-piece aluminium construction – The PORTAGANTRY RAPIDE is ultra lightweight one-piece aluminium foldable gantry which is designed for ease of transportation and assembly. The lightweight and foldable nature of the system allows for the gantry to be assembled within a few minutes including accessories. You can watch our assembly video here.

4. Personnel lifting up to 500kg – This system can support up to 500kg for personnel lifting depending on frame size and beam length.

5. Compatible with a range of accessories – Not only can this gantry support a range of winches and SRL’s but we offer a wide range of accessories such as gated trolleys which are tested for fall protection applications and can be used for attaching devices such as lanyards or retractable lifelines. Our trolleys also allow for this product to be set up for dual use, for example, you could lower a person into a work area with a winch and use a hoist, connected to a trolley to lift materials.
