Our PORTAGANTRY is easily customisable with a variety of beam lengths and A-frame sizes which allows for a range of work environments and applications.

The PORTAGANTRY has some great features which make it ideal for goods lifting applications. These include:

1. Manufactured from marine grade aluminium – The PORTAGANTRY is constructed from aluminium which is anodised to provide a quality surface finish and a good level of corrosion resistance for even the harshest environments. This makes the gantry suitable for ATEX (explosive) environments [ATEX Zone 2 is standard, Zone 1 can be achieved with a simple upgrade].

2. Materials handling capacity of up to 5000kg – The PORTAGANTRY comes in a wide range of sizes with capacity ratings from 500kg through to 5000kg. The gantry WLL is determined by the A-frame size and beam length.

3. Height Adjustment – Each gantry A-frame has incremental 150mm or 200mm height adjustment, ranging from 5 to 9 adjustment points, depending on the size of the frame. The PORTAGANTRY A-frames comes with either assisted height adjustment or manual. The assisted height adjustments are fitted with either a Ratchet system or a Gear Wheel. You can learn more here.

4. Swivel locking castors – Each leg of the gantry is fitted with an ergonomic 360° swivel locking castor [as standard] enabling the gantry to be easily moved into the required location. The castors can be easily locked into position.

5. Compatible with a variety of trolley options and accessories – The PORTAGANTRY is compatible with a range of trolley options including our gated trolley and gear driven trolley which enables a range of hoists to be easily attached for lifting operations.
